Hi there. I know exactly how you are feeling my daughter will be 3 in August and I am going through the exact same thing. Just yesterday in daycare she took her shoe off and started hitting this little boy on top of the head because she just didn't like him. What i found to be the most effective is to get down to her level. Sit down with her in a neutruel room were she can feel comfortable and talk to her making eye contact and letting her know that what she is doing is wrong.I try to talk to my daughter as if i were telling a friend something i did not like and believe it or not it works because she is not being screamed at she is just simply having a conversation with her mommy. Ask her if she would like to be treated the way she is treating others she will start to understand. If she does not, send her to her room and explain to her that she is being grounded and the only thing she can do is lay down on the bed no toys no talking. It will take awhile before they get use to it but i have realized that if you stick with it it will work my duaghter hates time out so if i tell her that she will be going there she stops and thinks. Also i have noticed now that i set a time were we can talk i start to undersdtand her and her actions alot better. Now the shoe thing with her i need to work out but you will see it will get better. It just takes some communication. Ask her why she is misbehaving. You will be suprised at the responses.
