Alright missy, I'm 20 years old, did I ever dress like trash in high school, trash being skirts that make it hard to walk, shirts that have less than 1 square foot of fabric, hell no. Tell me something, what happens if you get a tear in that little skirt of yours? You don't have much room for error in there. What if one of the strapps attached to the piece of cloth you have over your chest breaks? I don't care about hair color, I never did, but I did wait to leave high school to make it blue. Piercings? no biggie, for the most part same with tatts. But now to the serious issue, to make it as simple as I can, dress codes above all else, prevent students from wearing shirts that say things like (I do NOT support these sayings): "F*** Off", "Die N***** Die" and a whole slew of other things that would only encourage a fight. By the way, when it comes to a guy calling a girl a slut, the best and only way to make him mind his mouth is to force him to. Thus, kick the crap out of him. Do teachers need to deal with that everyday when they go to work? Just because you and others decide that this look is cool. Have some consideration for what your actions and apperance may have. If you think about it and look from the other side you might see things very differntly. |
