hi Im a mom of two 19yr girl 12yr boy. I think you did the right thing in keeping your children away from those disrespectful brats. Dont worry about what your children are feeling they dont see the damage those kids can give them. Your children just see other children getting away with murder and you being the sane parent in demanding respect for others is the opposite your children see now. You know the saying the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, they may think that its cool to cuse But be the parent its not cute or cool its UGLY, and nobody likes brats....their self-esteem will not be low if they give themselfs respect first then can give to others.
