It's not uncommon for a child to act that way. I have a 31/2 year old that does the exact same thing, and I figured out that sometimes it's a matter of him likeing his surroundings and not wanting to leave, sometimes he's bored at home, and we do not play entertainers for him. It is also a way to grab your attention. Pick him up, kicking and screaming, ignore his fits, and set your limits. Make it perfectly clear that you are the adult, and he WILL listen to what he is told. Good luck! It works for my son!
