SUBJECT: Movies and Videos
How do you determine which movies at the theater or on video are appropriate for your child. I have a 4 year old grand daughter. She has enjoyed "The Little Mermaid" on video and recently we took her to see "ET". She appears to love both of these movies, but tonight someone told me that these were not appropriate for a 4 year old. I certainly want to do what is best for her and have searched everywhere I can think of on the web to get some input about movies/videos for mature 4 year olds.

She let's "ET" phone home or gets a call from ET wanting to play.
She loves to play with her Little Mermaid toys in the bath tub, and sings, until she gives her voice away in order to get legs instead of flippers, etc.

Thanks for your input.
