SUBJECT: Fear of Toilet Overflowing
My 5 year old son is scared of using the bathroom as a result of an overflow of the toilet while he was using the potty. This event occured almost a year ago and he still refuses to use the one particular bathroom that the flood occured in. He will only go in if someone goes with him or it is the only one out of the three in out house that is free.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop this phobia? I am getting to the point of frustration that it has not gotten any better in almost a whole year?
Thanks for any info one can give to me.
