SUBJECT: 4yo's jealousy of 6mo baby
My 4yo daughter seems to be really showing signs of jealousy now of her 6mo brother. She adores him and takes nothing out on him, but I feel she is acting out in anger at me through her behavior. I am confident that my persistence and consistency will pay off as far as the behavior is concerned, but I don't know how to help her emotionally. I have constantly reassured her before he was born and since how much we love her, how important she is, that the baby needs us a lot because he is a baby but we still love her, etc, etc. My husband and I try to have "Mommy or Daddy dates" with her only when we can. But I still feel that she is feeling insecure and jealous and I don't know what else to do. I am sure it is a normal emotion, but I can't stand to think she is hurting inside. Any advice?

Thanks!
