Hi,
I couldn't help but start scratching at my head reading this!!! :-) I remember having lice and all that OTC stuff never worked on me when I was little. My mom literally picked out all the lice and eggs they left in my head. Check into the kids she is hanging around w/ as it maybe that someone else's child that has lice and they are not doing anything about it. My neice recently few mo's back got it and the pediatrician prescribed this shampoo (this is NOT OTC) white in color like..dont' remember the name but it WORKS! Change pediatrician's if the one she has is NOT helping! Get a hold of this shampoo and start cleaning everyone's head w/ it! I believe it started w/ an L I really cannot remember the name but it DOES exist. After everyone has gotten rid of the lice..CLEAN ALL items bedding clothes etc..everything that has gotten contact w/ the hair/head of the people infected. If you have carpet I know there are solutions out there to spray on them..really sounds like a good disinfecting needs to be done. Not that your dirty or anything - but to get rid of lice you have to do everything possible to get rid of them. HOT water in washing machines and clean all items that can be stuck in the washer.
