SUBJECT: Six year old cut off her hair!
I hope someone out there can identify. Tonight, my sweet little 6 yr.old daughter took scissors and hacked off about 1/2 of her hair. She is an only child, dad and I happily married, tests high in private school, no one has died lately, no pressure on her to look a certain way -- we have tried to think of every reason -- and nothing. She cannot explain why she did it -- said she felt bad when she did it because she knew we would be mad. There are no words to explain how upset my husband and I are -- what are we missing? I know lots of 2 year old who cut their bangs off -- but I know this is different.
