did she want her hair cut like a friends maybe? short hair is in style and maybe she just wanted to be like everybody else. it is normal and something that happens a lot! heard some funny stories from friends. you will laugh about this someday. ps. tell her how cute her new hair looks so she doesnt feel bad/ugly now that she did it. if your first response might have been " oh no that is terrible" :)
