Hi, my three year old son Jared has Sensory Integrative Dysfunction. He has been in therapy for six months and now that I understand what is "wrong" my son and I have an incredible relationship. Pre-diagnosis I found it difficult to bond with him. It hurts greatly to admit that, but I just couldn't understand what was causing the whining and sleeping and picky eating, etc. The Out of Synch Child became our "Bible" and helped out immensely. We recently found out that Jared is also tongue tied (tip of tongue connected to floor of mouth). Do you know if the two problems are in any way related? Since your child is older, how are things with your DSI child now that they are school age? Things with Jared going great. Hoping that clipping his tongue will encourage him to try new foods. Any and all advice is welcome. Good luck and God Bless. Sarah
