My feedback to you is to set limites right now .... today! With no rules, and no accountability for not following the rules, very little life learning is going to occur.

Without rules, your son is headed for a driving disaster. Take it form a mom who knows.

If harmony is to be maintained throughout the family dynamic, there must be a proper set of fmaily rules that are the same at all houses, with a complete understanding and expectation that these are part of your family values.

Write it up and have everyone sign it and post it where it can be seen. When the rules are bot followed, the person breaking the rules must hold themselves accountable and accept whatever compliance has been set. And stick to it!

No matter what!

Difficult Teens

If you or someone you know is experiencing difficulty with a teen, and would like information and a questionnaire that serves as a point of reference in understanding the severity of the problems your teen is facing, please call me at the number below. Sometimes the problems are so severe that they can only be properly addressed by getting professional help in a controlled environment, such as a Residential Center, Specialty School, or Treatment Program.

If outside help is needed, I can provide you with some recommendations on cost effective options that have a successful track history with difficult teens. For more information from a parent who has had first hand experience, call Dore at (831) 372-4845 or email me at DoreGray@aol.com.
