I have both a 5 and 6 year old both girls. Thge cloest encounter I've had with this is when we had our cat neutered. My 6 yr old asked why we did it and I told her so that he couldn't make any babies. I also said that we had daddy is fixed too, so we won't be having any more kids. It ended there with no more questions. Thank goodness. I would have been in a pickle if she had noticed that the cat no longer has all of his private parts. Sometimes the simplest answers are better for little ones.
