You could try a soft radio under the crib. This is the age my son started in with the reflux (spelling?) not vomiting, just made a "yucky" face look. If you see that, tell the doctor. He will put your baby on Zantac. Try a night light.
When a baby wakes up, they look for the last thing they saw when they feel asleep. That give them comfort. Also, I have found that my son likes to sleep with just a onsie. I think he will get too cold, but then he seems to sleep a bit better when I under dress him. good luck.
