How nice to read your message & others regarding the family bed. My husband & I love having our 3 year old sleep with us but everyone else seems to think it's a problem! We gave up trying to get our son to sleep alone when at age one, after many long nights of endless crying, he fell from his crib while trying to get out to come to our room. Thankfully, he was not hurt. He's been in our bed ever since. He's happiest there & I know that he's safe & secure. Besides, as working parents, we cherish each moment we can spend with our pride and joy.
