I'm also new to this group and joined specifically because I'd also like another child. We have a 2 year old and two months ago my husband agreed that it was a good time to have another, so I stopped using birth control and was getting very excited about our future plans. Last week he said changed his mind. I understand his reasons, mainly he thinks the added stress to his life would be too much (we both have careers and work full-time) but I feel cheated because he agreed at first and then pulled the rug out from under me. I know I can't make him change his mind and I certainly wouldn't do it without his being a willing partner. I'm just so sad about it and don't want to build resentment, especially as our friends have more children and because of my age, it'll soon be too risky, so it's now or never.
