I know exactly how you feel. I am a single parent of a 3 1/2 year old that no one else seems to have trouble with. But, he talks to me like a dog, won't ever answer me unless I get up to react to the situation, embarrasses me if I take him into any kind of social situation. He wasn't like this until about a year ago. I have started taking his favorite toys for the rest of the day when he acts up. He's really smart, he knows how to get to me. Plus I feel guilty for having to go to work on swing shifts and leave him. He can be as good a gold, but thats mostly when its just me and him. I wish you luck. I know how frustrating it is.
