SUBJECT: discipline
I have a 16 year old step son that I get along with very well, UNTIL. He has just gotten his license and his attitude has changed dramatically.
He has good grades, no drugs, that we know of. But he lies all the time about where he has been and what he has done. When we ground him, he finds ways to go right to the line, for example, no company, so he brings 6 boys over to play ball in the street. We have lost control. We told him do not bring anyone to the house, he does it anyway, when we are not home. What do you do when gounding dont work? I'm afraid he will run to his moms house. She has no house rules and I'm afraid this will only damage him as a man later in life.
