While I'm sorry to learn that ambidexterity has been hard for these kids, I've always found it to be a benefit. In school teachers tried to stop me from using both hands, but it was second nature to me and didn't take. Now I'm 32,and can write with either hand, though my right is neater and so the one I usually use for checks, etc.I switch back and forth whatever I'm doing depending on what's more convenient at the time.If your children are lucky enough to have this kind of hand control, be glad for them. I know my lefty husband gets jealous!
