These 3 friends have been my best friends since I at least 5 yrs old, none of us do drugs, we all have good grades.. nothing below a 3.0 GPA. Well, the thing is my mom insists that I don't go and play with my band... she says that she hates my friends and she doesn't want me near them. Like I said, we have been best friends since we were 5, my mom has just started "hating" them since I joined the band.. NONE of us do drugs and have never been in any serious trouble. I always do my chores and homework and stuff before I practice with them... which is only a couple nights a week, and we usually do some sort of a show on the weekends. If I finish everything that needs to be finished why won't my mom let me play with the band? I understand that my homework and chores need to be done before I have fun or be on the phone or whatever-that has been the rule in the house since I was 10 and I completely obey it, and my mom knows that. She always has an excuse like, "Your friends are trouble you can't be around them." or "You can't go because I say so." All I do is end up sneaking out and going anyway. What she is doing isnt fair. I'm a good kid and I deserve to have some fun once in a while. How do I change my moms mind? | |  | |
