IN REPLY TO: humidifiers for dry skin?

I have used a humidifer on and off and it helps some but my son has really dry skin, even some eczema. I am using Eucerin lotion and it seems to work really work. For his eczema, I got a Rx from his doctor. Be careful with humidifiers, though. If they are not cleaned regularly and properly they can do more harm than good. They can spread germs throughout the room. That's why I don't like to use mine very often.

Good luck.
