My kids also sleep with me. I have 3. My son is 8 next month and has no intention on leaving. My dh gives him a hard time some time. I told him he can go in the other room if he wants, but he is into the territorial thing. If it was up to me they can stay as long as they want to. My 21mo old still nurses at night as did the other 2 till I was pregnant with the next. They were 2 1/2. So much energy seems to be put into separating from children at such a young age. I just see all the people saying thier children want to be with them at night. It makes me sad that nobody is saying that it is ok and to just enjoy it. I was happy to see your response! Thank you.
