SUBJECT: Drug Testing
My daughter is 21 and just graduated college this summer. She was offered a job to teach at an elementary school. After a drug test she was informed that she tested positive for marijuana metabolites. She has admit that she tried it for the first time approximately 3weeks ago. Needless to say she has been denied the job and is devastated. She has also admitted that at several parties during the school year there was marijuana smoking heavily going on. Is it possible for marijuana to be in her urine for over 2weeks and being in the presence of lots of marijuana smoking help contribute to the positive testing? I'm angry with her but I'm also disappointed that there is nothing to do to change it and unfortunately 4 years of tuition is gone down the drain. Somebody Help me understand about drug testing and marijuana. I want to believe her but it's hard.
