SUBJECT: Working Mom Guilt
I have an 8 month old son. He has been going to a sitter since he was 2 months. The lady who keeps him is wonderful. She loves him very much and he really seems to like her as well. He is a very happy baby. He smiles constantly. My problem, I guess, is me. I guess I am feeling somewhat jealous because I worry that she has a closer relationship to him than I do. I spend every second I can with him. I do everything I can to develop our relationship and it is a good one. I guess I may be paranoid but I worry myself sick constantly. I cry while I'm at work and it is getting out of hand. I feel guilty for leaving him and I worry that it will affect how he feels about me and about his feelings of security. Please, someone ease my mind. Why am I going to crazy about this!!??
