Celluitis is a spreading bacterial infection of the skin, usually caused by streptococcal or staphylococcal infections. Most often found in areas below the waist. Diabetics often have this condition, but I am now saying your child is diabetic. For mild cases of celluitis, oral dicloxacillin or cefazolin is effective. This information found in Tabers Medical Dictionary.
