SUBJECT: the "Stevie Wonder"
this message isn't really a discussion (unless someone responds), just something i thought i would share with other parents. my husband and i found it to be extremely funny. thought you might enjoy it.

a couple of days ago, my 11 week old (almost 12) daughter taught herself a new trick. she can turn her head side to side. thrilling, right? well, the look on her face the first time she did it, was hilarious. she seemed to be saying, "hey, wait a minute. what did i just do? look at this. i can move this big ole thing. let me try it again. look!!! i can move it this way and that way and this way and that way. back and forth, back and forth. the whole world looks different from this angle. this is cool!!!" i know it may not seem like much, but it was the first time she did something and actually knew she did it. we started calling it the "Stevie Wonder". she also does the "Elvis" (she snarls one of her nostrils) and the "Popeye" (she sleeps with one eye closed). she is quite the talented little lady. anybody else have any "gifted" children?
