my parents tried that when i was a small girl...nothing against them at all, they just didn't know how left handedness worked and thought maybe they could change it. being right handed themselves made helping me with handwriting and such very difficult. all they succeeded in doing was making it so that i do everything but write with my right hand, but i cannot write with my right hand. my dad isn't my biological dad, but the left handedness is on his side of the family. i don't know at all how that works.
