| I think you are being a tad harsh on this mother. When JFK was shot, he was a great man, from what I've read, it was tragic but only one man died, On 9-11, 3,000 peole died and no child or adult for that matter should have to listen or watch it if it upsets them. That day as I sat in class the TV turned on to show the tower collapsing and I had to run to the bathroom because not only did the complete terror envolope me, the thought of so many peole dying was awful and the sight of firey corpses hitting the ground was overwhelming. You can't please all of the people all of the time but you can sure as heck try. And only 20 kids left? Some how I find that a little hard to believe. THere is a HUGE difference between a video game and real life. a HUGE difference. Even us kids know that, 6th graders should definately know the difference, im in 8th grade I knew, I was only in 6th grade 2 years ago, I would have known then too. I felt alot safer with my mother than I did at school, the school would give out no information. That day, How was anyone supposed to know if we are all going to die that day, or the day after, or after that. I wanted to be close to my family. So her mom cried all day, why shouldn't she cry? Not to sound rude, but the little girl should have been scared, horrible things were happening and no one knew who these men were, why they did this or if it was going to continue to happen. It was a terrible thing! I obviously don't know you personally but you sound like a robot with absolutely no emotions what so ever! But I am sure you could be a nice person. |
