You said that your son "decided that is bed is to squishy".
1. Maybe he wants a firm mattress.
2. Maybe some covering you have on the mattress is noisy or uncomfortable.
3. Take his favorite stuffed animal or stuffed figure he likes alot & put it in his toddler bed & say. Elmo(the stuffed objects name) wants to sleep in you toddler bed, he likes it there alot, he thinks your bed is really nice!
