SUBJECT: Ambidexterity?
I've tried to research this on the internet, but have not found much info.

I write and eat with my right hand exclusively, but tend to prefer my left hand for most other functions. I always pick up things with my left hand and will always try to throw a ball with my left, but I throw very badly. Throwing with my right hand is really no better. I can use hand tools with either hand equally well, and am comfortable switching back and forth. (I was very surprised to hear people say they couldn't hammer a nail with their left hand. It never accorded to me that this was linked to "handedness".)

When it comes to using my hands, it seems they are "Jacks of all trades, masters of none". :) Does anyone have any info on ambidexterity, and how the brain copes with this.

P.S. - I was never forced to write or use my right hand exclusively.
