SUBJECT: Refrigerating Antibiotics
My son was recently prescribed Augmentin for ear infection. I did not see any of those pharmacy stickers on the bottle saying to refrigerate it. I was a little surprised, but figured maybe I didn't have to with this stuff. So here it is almost a week later and I was looking at the bottle again and lo and behold in "small print" it says must be refrigerated. Is it still effective and ok to use?
