SUBJECT: Leukomalasia
my 3 year old son has just been diagnosed with leukomalasia . i knew something was wrong when his speech development wasnt where it should be he talks in sentences but the majority of the time it sounds like mummblying and you can only pick out one or two words. his speech is really his biggest problem he does have some behavior problems but i think that comes his frustration of not being understood. does anyone know if this diagnosis can be very mild and may just have little affect to him as he grows up? he is in speech therapy but for only 1 day a week for 1 hour. any other info on this diagnosis. hes been healthy. was not premature.
