SUBJECT: watching trouble from the start
I am concerned about 2 boys I know. The 9 yr old is a bully, very agressive, doesn't do well in school, and is still pooping his pants. The 7 yr. old is shy and submissive due to the bulling of the older one. Both are doing horribly in school, flunking, being made fun of..I am forced to sit back and watch these kids being brought up without any guidience. The family is uninterested in these kids, the school has tried to talk to members of the family, and I am sure Family Services has been involved at one point. These kids are headed for a serious disaster. I have tried to talk to members of the family to no avail. It is obvious these boys have mental, and psychological problems and they are not getting any help whatsoever, what more can be done? I want desperately to help, yet I have to keep my 9 & 3 yr. old protected as well. They are being affected as well. They cannot be avoided because they are relatives.. I can't sit back and do nothing, yet family services doesn't see enough of a problem to intervene. I need help so that I can help them.
