 | RELAX.......take a deep breath, close your eyes and think about the most relaxing place you've ever been.........there, now do you feel a little better??? :o) It sounds as though you are way too stressed out about all this for it to be good for you!!!! I can't give you answers to all your problems, but I will try to help you out the best I can.......keep breathing deep :o)!!!
First of all, yes ovulation occurs 10 to 16 days before the first day of your period (the norm is 13 or 14, but who is really normal?!?!?). Is it possible that you actually conceived a couple of weeks prior to the date you thought, and that maybe a condom that you used leaked, broke, or your husband slipped while removing it and some of those little buggars got away?!?!? Unless you possibly had a really messed up period that month (when you conceived the day before your period was due), it just seems more likely that something else (like a leaky condom ) was the cause.......but who knows, everyone is different! As far as the BC pills and the depo, the switch between the two could have caused your body to do all sorts of wierd things ~ strange discharge, irregular periods, cramping, etc., and from what I understand the depo shots can take anywhere from six months to a year to completely get out of your system,so combined with the on and off taking of the BC pills your body might be REAL CONFUSED!!!! Of course if you get pregnant real easy, there is that chance that you did conceive in all this confusion!
My advice ~ First of all relax, if you are pregnant great, if not then you have all that fun ahead of you trying :o)!!!! Stress and anxiety are terrible on your body, especially if you are TTC or already pregnant. Try another HPT in a week or two, if it comes back positive CONGRATULATIONS, if not KEEP TRYING!! Since you aren't sure when you are ovulating at this point, I would suggest trying to have sex every other day (or at least every third day), this way there is always sperm ready and waiting for that egg to show up :o)!! Remember, that even with the best conditions there is still only about a 25% chance each month to conceive, and since you have been on a couple different types of birth control your body may not be ready for a few months. If you are having periods you are ovulating, just a little sparatically at this point :o)!! Go ahead and start taking the prenatal vitamins, I hear they help speed up the process of getting the depo and pills out of your system. I am sure that before you know it (if not already) you will have conceived and all this worry will be behind you!!!
Good Luck, and definately keep us posted!! |
