SUBJECT: My Earliest Memory
From infancy to two years old I had epilepsy, but after that I grew out of it... I remember one of my seizures. I remember shaking uncontrollably and not being able to control my body. My mind was ok. I knew what was going on around me...I just couldn't do anything. I remember we had guests and I was entertaining for them, but they were just sitting on the sofa watching what was going on when I was shaking... I could see fear and uncertainty in their eyes. While all that was going on I could feel my mom wrapping me up in a blanket and holding me so I wouldn't hurt myself. Strange thing is I never felt fear or was scared or anything. It was almost like I was used to it and was just waiting till it was over and had control over my body again.
