 | I have had this image come into my mind from time to time. All it is is me going around the corner into a playarea that had those little quarter-machines for little children to ride on. I never knew what it was,or why it was in my head, until I was sixteen years old. My father and I had been living in a town for about six months, and he took me to a mall that was old and about to close down. I saw the escalator, and it looked oddly familiar, but to my knowledge, I had never been in that mall before. I walked around to the back of the escalator, and there it was! The little playarea from my memories. All of the little rides were gone, but it was the same place. I just knew it. I told my father about it, and he told me that when I was about eighteen months old, we had breifly stayed in the same town and my mother had brought me to the same mall. I don't know why my memory is just a little blurb about some seeming insignificant thing, but it means a lot to me that I was able to remember something from so long ago. |
