SUBJECT: Medical History
I'm adopted and it has been most difficult my entire life when doctor's ask about past medical history.

I have problems with my eyes and so do my children and the eye doctor, of course, asks, well, isn't this in your background. Your mother and father perhaps? I'm sure it is but my adoption was closed. However, my adoptive mother has provided me with her name but not my fathers.

How is an adoptee supposed to know what to look for in their own children if they don't know.
