 | HI, read your article here,is it adhd?im havin the same problem with my daughter.she daydreams alot in school, cant stay focused or doesnt, teachers r frustrated with her as i am at home at times. when she wants to let you know how she feels ,she sounds very intelligent but when it comes to school stuff, other kids ,shes a mess!very short attention span,i can tell her something, she'll scream or even just tell me i didnt tell her when she was looking right at me! has a problem with comprehnding things. i can only image what the teachers at her school think of me when she doing this,i dont always get to see her teachers due to working night shift[3rds] and have 2 boys and 36 weeks pregnant or if at all. i dont know if this helps any but am also a frustrated person with a daughter who is having the same problem,i just hope there are caring ,supportive teachers out there as you seem to be as you're asking about one of your students. im trying to work with her myself, talking, explaining, helping her with what i can at home as far as her behavior, learning, people, etc. it's defintinily a job on top of a job keeping up with her but she's coming around more lately and compremising,i guess things take more time than we want them too due to our busy lifes. just your understanding, talking with your student ,staying persistenet may be just what that child needs. glad to know there are caring teachers as yourself out there, just hang in there. if you'd like you can respond back. |
