I was on depo for 3 years, it caused me to gain weight, and to be moody, and the only pleasant side effect was no period. I got off of Depo and three years later i find myself four months pregnant. I remember my OB saying it takes up to two years for you to ovulate after extended depo use. Oh and as for that last reply, i tried for eight months to get pregnant with no results. Just when I quit trying I got pregnant. The best thing you can honestly do is just not worry about it, if it happens it happens if not it doesn't. The harder you try the less likely it is to happen.
