I am 22, and have experience the same as you do. I am terrified my metabolism will give out and I will weigh what I should in comparison to what I eat. I go through times where this affects me more than others. What I have found is that I am a boredum eater, meaning when I am alone, I think about food. I have tried chewing gum when out in public. I also drink a lot more water (carry a water bottle with you!) and try having popsicles or freezies at home to snack on instead of a meal. Hope this helps!
