Jodi, Our 5-year-old son sleeps with us - our 7-year-old never did. From the moment the little guy was born he slept best when being snuggled. We've tried bribery, threats :-) I was going crazy and no one was getting any sleep. Then I talked to friend of mine with 4 wonderful kids - the oldest is in high school and youngest is 7. She said that all of her kids slept with them at one time or another. Her advice was to enjoy this time with them - it won't be long till they don't want to snuggle with you. He is VERY independent in everything else so I'm taking my friend's advice - I love it when he puts his little feet on me or reaches out to make sure I'm there. I will actually be a little sad when he no longer sneaks in :-)
