I had my D&C December 19th. I had my first period after that 4 weeks later and it was not normal. I had menstrual cramps about 2 days before it started then I spotted lightly for 2 days and then one day later I got a "normal" period. It only lasted 3 days. I just got my second period and it was much more normal. I'm not sure about ovulation. I've never really been able to tell when I ovulate. I have bought one of those urine tests and I'm going to try and use it this month. I figure I'll start using it 10 days after my first day of my period. This was my OB's advice so we'll see what happens. I had one friend that just had an etopic pregnancy and had to have a D&C and she got pregnant before she even had a period. So I guess you can ovulate before you even get your period!! It is so crazy, I was always under the impression that getting pregnant was easy! Was I wrong or what!?!
