| Hello-I have had 3 c-sections. And my kids are 3.5, 2 and 5 months. 5/31/2000, 11/20/01, 9/23/03 After my last my Dr. told me that she could see the baby's hair through my uterus because it was so thinned out and that I also had a lot of scar tissue-it took them a little longer for this section compared to the others but it was only like 40-45 minutes. After the section she told me to think long and hard before getting pregnant again and mentioned the scar tissue but not the thinned out uterus. It wasn't until I went back for my staple removal that she said my uterus was thinned and (again) to think long and hard before having any more babies because of rupture. Well I had polyhydramnios due to GD that wasn't diagnosed until 34 weeks. I TOLD my Dr. that I was huge at 30 weeks and they blew it off saying that my fundal height measured normal. It wasn't until I mentioned having another ultrasound at 34 weeks that they caught the polyhdramnios then told me that(I failed my one hour glucose but passed my 3 hour)I passed my 3 hour 'by the skin of my teeth' and that I was most probably carbohydrate intolerant. Sorry this is so long but I would love to have another at least one more! But I am very afraid. I never went back to my obgyn because they don't accept my insurance any longer. I am currently looking for a new obgyn. If anyone has any info for me please email me: 2ripple@comcast.net |
