First off let me say I am very sorry no matter how far along you are it is difficult to lose a baby. I have lost 3 and the first one was as you described. I went to the Dr. and my hcg numbers did not match up so they did on ultrasound and found about the same thing. I did not have a d/c they gave me a shot of methatrexate and I ended up losing it naturally. The worse bleeding in my life. I lost all 3 in 1 yr but, try not WHEN you get pregnant again try not to worry, pray about it and get a close friend that has had a baby that you can talk to even about the silliest questions, that is what hleped me so much. I have a 3yr old and a 1yr old and let me tell you no matter how long it has been I remember my other three babies and think of them all the time. I even still say a little prayer and my take my children to a special place on the day that they were due it helps. It does get easier but not for awile and you will be a great parent one day. Good luck to you and I hope I hear back from you soon.
Kari
