It really sounds to me like he could be allergic to the proteins that are in milk and soy which Nutramigen still has (depending on which you get the soy based or the milk based). My daughter was allergic to all the above to and was switched to Neocate. It is very expensive but if your doctor agrees then it may be worth a try. But she is finally not getting hives all of the time. A lot of babies react differently to allergies. Good luck.
