 | I am writing you back, but I don't know how much help I can be with this issue. I have never been able to take any birth control pills, or injections because I have a long history of severe migraines, but I will tell you what I know.
Coming off of any form of birth control it may take you longer to conceive, so please don't panic or stress out just 4 to 5 months into TTC. Stress and anxiety are not good for your body in any case. I know it is hard, but try to relax! Try to make love making fun and not just "doing it" because it is the right time of the month. You are still a newlywed, so putting stress into love making at this point isn't a real great idea anyway :o)!!
Taking the prenatal vitamins could very well have sped things up with your body ~ even though it might not be as quick as you or your hasband might have wanted at this point......remember that every month you TTC if everything works perfectly and you are in perfect health there is still only a 25% chance that you will conceive. Just coming off of the depo, put that chance a little lower in the first months, and now it is probably the luck of the draw at this point. I wasn't trying to get pregnant with either my 1st or 2nd pregnancies (in fact in both cases they told me that I might not be able to), and I got pregnant with no problem what-so-ever. With pregnancy #3 I figured that since I had gotten pregnant so quickly with 1 & 2 that #3 would be a breeze......no such luck! It took my husband ans I 8 months of trying and one month of not trying for me to get pregnant (of course I got pregnant the first month we didn't try)! I sure that for you and your husband it will all work out, but maybe you should try to relax about the conception thing right now, and just enjoy each other for a while ~ you'll probably end up pregnant quicker than you can imagine! Good Luck |
