What's the color of your spotting? I spotted brownish blood from about 6 weeks to 9 weeks. I asked my doctors and a ob/gyn friend about this and they said it's normal as long as i wasn't having alot of cramps. They said that it was probably residual blood from the last period. And sure it enough, it stopped. Also around that time, I had lots of side pains, small cramps, but that is due to your uterus stretching. so it's also normal to feel that. I'm at 21 weeks now and everything is going well. Good luck.
