Not necessairly, it depends on how YOU use love. Some people abuse love which causes chaos and despair but not everyone who love's gets hurt or has it lead to many painful things.

If you were to look 'love' up in the dictionary it will say more than one thing.. and not everyone who is in love or whatever will be the same meaning as in the dictionary. Everyone loves for different reasons and just because it may not be the same as in the dictionary doesn't make it wrong or not love, it just makes it their meaning of love, which is why I don't think there is just one meaning.
