i'm sorry, but spanking your child because they don't eat is a little overboard. putting things in electrical outlets or touching something again after you've told them twice , is a reason for spanking but NOT EATING .. come on now maybe someone needs some anger managment. if the child doesn't eat, let it go. they will not starve. my son has been going through this waking up and not eating for two weeks. his eating habits have changed slightly, but all i do is leave him in his chair in front of tv until all or most is gone. the disney cahnnel distracts him as he eats. that's a much better way than spanking your child!!
