SUBJECT: Why does my 5 year old daughter brag so much?!!
My daughter is in Kindergarten and will soon be 6. She brags all the time and needs to be the best and first at everything. Is this healthy?

She has been this way for a very long time. Example, when I drop her off at school in the morning, she will speak very loud so that others can hear the cool thing she is telling me. She will turn and say to me VERY loud "Mom, so my friend is staying the night tonight?". She wants everyone to hear her!!! She also get very upset (tears) if she isnt the winner at a game or race or if she makes a mistake around others.

Its almost like she is looking for acceptance. But she has lots of friend, doesnt have problems socializing. She is in involved in lots of school activities and gets lots of positive attention at home.

HELP ME PLEASE!!! Does is anyone else going through this? Is this normal?
